What is a Meanstreak?
A Meanstreak is Allied Manufacturing's private line of oval shaped
high performance mufflers.
What does a
Meanstreak sound like?
A nice deep throaty sound when idling and taking
off, but will tone down when cruising on the highway without drone.
How is it made?
Our specially designed baffles are pushed into
the case and welded in place. The endcaps and cores are welded at the
neck for bulletproof strength. Our baffles hold the fully louvered
cores in place and have vents to allow for free flow of exhaust.
What's inside?
Meanstreak II is a two tube construction for
more flow and sound. Our Meanstreak III's have three tubes for a more
mellow performance sound.
Will they increase
my horsepower?
Yes, you will probably notice an increase in
power at the higher RPM's
Will I get better
fuel economy?
Yes. Because our mufflers are less restrictive
than original equipment, you can bet on better fuel economy.
Is it street legal?
Yes, so long as it does not exceed O.E.M.
decibel readings.
Are Meanstreak
mufflers reversible?
Yes, unless indicated as a directional muffler
in the catalog.
